Where we build gardens
We are a garden company based in Kráľovský Chlmec, and we build complete turnkey gardens — from earthworks to a finished lawn. We concentrate regular care closer to our base; for design and construction, the scope, machinery and number of days on site determine how far we travel. Below we set out the actual areas, the services that make sense there and how we work over longer distances.
Where exactly we work
Where we work in eastern Slovakia
Most of the gardens we build are within forty kilometres of Kráľovský Chlmec. The Trebišov and Michalovce districts are within our normal working area; further across the Košice region we mainly travel for larger commissions. The site visit and communication during the build can run in Slovak or Hungarian. Finished gardens from these areas are in our project gallery.
Medzibodrožie lies on the Latorica plain between the Bodrog, the Latorica and the Tisa, in the lowest and warmest part of the East Slovak Lowland. Annual rainfall runs roughly between 550 and 750 mm, summers tend to be long and dry, and near the watercourses the heavier alluvial soils prevail. A garden here therefore cannot be handled by a manual written for western Slovakia — it changes the choice of species, the irrigation cycles and the maintenance calendar.
In all the areas listed here we provide the complete range of garden services in one sequence: earthworks and site levelling, soil preparation, the irrigation system, planting and laying the lawn. That also covers renovating a neglected garden and partial changes, where the whole garden is not being tackled at once. Which of those makes sense where, we set out below.
Kráľovský Chlmec and Medzibodrožie
Our base and most frequent working areaWe set out from here for site visits, builds and servicing. In Kráľovský Chlmec, Streda nad Bodrogom, Veľké Kapušany, Čierna nad Tisou, Somotor, Boťany, Leles, Pribeník, Borša, Malý Horeš and the surrounding villages we cover the whole range — from design and irrigation to planting and regular maintenance. The site visit and communication during the work can run in Slovak or in Hungarian.
Trebišov and the Trebišov district
Normal working areaTrebišov, Sečovce, Slovenské Nové Mesto, Parchovany, Veľaty, Novosad and the villages between them are within the area where we carry out site visits and complete turnkey gardens. Most of the work here comes from new builds, starting with levelling the plot after construction and ending with the lawn. Transport of machinery is considered only once the real scope is known, not charged flat by the kilometre.
Michalovce and the Michalovce district
Normal working areaIn Michalovce, Strážske, Vinné, Kaluža, Pozdišovce and around Zemplínska šírava we build complete gardens as well as single phases — an irrigation system, planting or renewing a lawn. Plots here tend to be larger and exposed, so we combine the site visit with measuring and a soil check. For regular maintenance we agree the frequency in advance so that the travel makes sense.
Košice and Košice-okolie
For larger commissionsWe do not have a branch in Košice; we travel to the city and to villages of the surrounding district such as Valaliky, Haniska, Rozhanovce and Sady nad Torysou for projects that need several days on site. What makes sense here is a complete garden build including earthworks, a larger automatic irrigation system or continuous planting — not standalone routine mowing. Sloping plots around Košice also call for retaining walls and drainage, which is work for continuous phases.
